Founded in 2002 by Erel and Debbie Margalit, Bakehila’s mission is to break the cycle of poverty in underprivileged communities by promoting social and educational entrepreneurship of youth.

Margalit Startup City catalyzes socio-economic growth by creating thematic centers of excellence that combine innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship with social and cultural initiatives. Each innovation center collaborates with investors, municipalities, universities and more to change the future of cities.
